Entry Level Chemist

We are seeking an Entry Level Chemist to join our team and contribute to our testing processes. The role involves working in four main areas of chemical testing, including the extraction of precious metals and jewels from raw materials.

Responsibilities

• Extract precious metals and jewels from raw materials through a chemical process.
• Conduct testing using X-ray fluorescence (XRF) technology.
• Perform atomic absorption analysis.
• Execute fire assay procedures.

• Proficiency in chemistry and laboratory techniques.
• Experience with XRF and atomic absorption methods.

• Bachelors degree related to Chemistry.

The work takes place in a small manufacturing facility that was renovated in 2010, featuring a dedicated lab room. The company is located in Hempstead. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
