What Laboratory contributes to Cardinal Health

Clinical Care Delivery provides high quality, patient-centered care focused on diagnosing, treating and managing care while ensuring the safety, efficiency and effectiveness of the practice.

The Medical Laboratory Technician is responsible for assisting the Medical Laboratory Scientist at Fairbanks Urology in the lab. They test and analyze body fluids such as blood, urine and tissue samples. They will o perate laboratory equipment, such as microscopes and automated cell counters, and use automated equipment that analyzes multiple samples at the same time. In addition, the medical lab technician records data from medical tests and enters results in to a patient's medical record.

  • Record data from medical tests and enter results in to a patient's record
  • Assist the Laboratory Scientist with running samples and interpreting data
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience, preferred
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) Clinical Laboratory Assisting Certificate
  • Associates Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, or equivalent work experience, preferred

Anticipated hourly range: $16.80 per hour - $25.30 per hour
