PharmaLogics Recruiting is seeking an Associate Scientist, Molecular and Cell in San Diego, CA.
Job Description :
You Will Contribute
Excellent laboratory techniques and the ability to work independently
Significant experience with mammalian cell culture and cell line development
Proficiency with in vitro transfection, dosing, and downstream assays
Experience with running ELISA workflows and assistance with creation of new ELISA methods
Wet-bench efforts towards analytical assay execution and validation
Maintain up to date ELN
Ability to communicate data, findings, and next steps to a team with a broad background
Some prior experience with assay automation
Ability to design and build DNA plasmids and use related software such as Benchling molecular biology suite and/or SNAP gene
Flow-cytometry experience
A positive can-do attitude; someone that thrives working as a part of a highly productive team
Compensation Details:
The base salary range for this role is $118,750 - $131,250. The final compensation will be commensurate with such factors as relevant experience, skillset, internal equity and market factors.
Requirements & Experience :
BA or BS in biology or related discipline with 8 years of work experience in biotechnology or a university setting laboratory or an BA/MS degree in biology, bioengineering, cell biology or equivalent with 6 years of industry experience
Experience with analytical assay development and qualification
Proven ability to thrive and enable success in a cross-functional and collaborative environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to facilitate constructive and expedient problem-solving.
Ability to multi-task, manage conflict, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
R or python-based data wrangling skills to facilitate data analysis workflows (preferred but not required)
