Quality Control Technician

Reporting to the Quality Assurance manager, the QC Technician is responsible for ensuring the timely testing of samples through the product quality evaluation process.

What You Will Do:

• Performs testing and analysis twice per shift on all production lines, conducted under the supervision of QA Sr. Technicians / Technicians.
• Assists Quality team in monthly audits of plant operations, including but not limited to food safety audits and glass and brittle plastic audits.
• Assists in non-conforming product program, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting results to QA Manager
• Assists in maintenance of Quality Assurance lab according to cleanliness standards.
• Helps develop and ensure a pleasant and productive work environment.
• Ensures department tasks are done accurately and in a safe, timely fashion.
• Completes departmental housekeeping to ensure compliance with internal as well as food safety standards.
• Ensures safety and sanitation standards are always met through compliance with plant Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Other testing as directed by the QA Manager.

• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, and Excel

The target hourly range for this position is $17-23. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicants qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job.
