Provides routine technical assistance in performing assigned duties of various research projects. Directly impacts cancer research efforts with the Department of Genetics.
Schedule: Full-time, Monday- Friday, 9:00 AM- 6:00 PM
Key Functions:
Sample QC- Perform sample quality and quantity assessment for assigned services in the ATGC. Generate and distributes QC reports.
Perform sample intake for assigned services. Correctly receive, process, and verify proper identification of samples.
Maintain accurate and complete records according to established policies and procedures. Update service LIMS as required.
General Lab duties- To include but not limited to: reagent/supply check-in and storage, buffer and reagent stock preparation.
Prepare laboratory equipment and supplies for use by scientist. Calibrate and maintain general laboratory equipment
Other tasks as assigned.
