- Manage all steps of routine experimentation, including sample preparation, equipment orientation, instrument control, data processing, and analysis.
- Accurately maintain and update laboratory databases, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
- Conduct product performance and field testing.
- Approve, hold, and reject products based on laboratory analysis versus specifications.
- Ensure compliance with current regulatory requirements, following GMP guidelines for data reporting.
- Conduct reexamination of borderline results and research technical literature for process improvements.
- Handle multiple projects to meet various completion deadlines.
- Recommend testing parameters and complete experiments as assigned.
- Provide analytical and technical support for quality-related product investigations.
- Complete data reviews for out-of-specification test results and issue SPC charts of historical results.
- Optimize and recommend lab improvements to support 5S initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Laboratory research and chemical testing experience.
- Understanding of manufacturing environment and quality control processes.
- Knowledge of chemistry and biology, including pH and UV-Vis testing.
- Proficiency in sample labeling and laboratory inspection.
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific field is preferred but not required.
- 0-1 years of laboratory experience, with chemical manufacturing being a plus.
- Experience working in a quality control lab and supporting ISO 9001 regulations is advantageous.
- Open to candidates with an administrative background interested in starting a career in a lab.
The position offers a flexible schedule from Monday to Friday, with working hours from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM or 7 AM to 4 PM.
