Analytical Scientist

Job Summary

We are seeking a Scientist to join our growing Analytical Development team. This is a hands-on, laboratory-based role focused on the development, qualification, and execution of analytical methods for the characterization of complex biologics. The ideal candidate will support clinical programs through to commercial registration and post-approval improvements by providing phase-appropriate analytical development.

This position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Process Development, R&D, Formulation Development, and Quality Control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, validate, and execute analytical methods for biologics testing.
  • Author and review analytical methods, protocols, reports, and technical documentation.
  • Operate, maintain, and oversee installation of sophisticated analytical instrumentation.
  • Support laboratory operations including inventory tracking, reagent preparation, and sample management.
  • Ensure compliance with ICH guidelines, global regulations, and internal quality standards (GMP, GLP, GCP, GDP).
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of technical operations and project outcomes.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proficiency in analytical techniques such as:
    • HPLC
    • ELISA/AlphaLISA
    • Western Blot
    • UV-Vis Spectroscopy
    • CE-SDS
  • Strong experience in method development, qualification, and validation.
  • Demonstrated ability to draft and review protocols, SOPs, and technical reports.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with GxP environments and regulatory compliance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expertise in drafting protocols, methods, and procedures.
  • Experience with method qualification and validation.
  • Background in neurotoxin-based therapeutics.
  • Experience with quality systems including change control, deviations, and laboratory investigations.

Education & Experience

  • Masters degree in Biological Sciences or related field with 5+ years of industry experience,
  • OR
  • Ph.D. with 2+ years of relevant experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52.70 - $62.16/hr.
