We are seeking a Laboratory Technician to support product quality, compliance, and continuous improvement in a dynamic production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate ingredients and finished products to ensure conformance with internal specifications.
Conduct quality audits and provide feedback to frontline team members on results and performance.
Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement activities, supporting quality and food safety initiatives.
Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies such as OSHA, TTB, and EPA.
Maintain and update lab procedures; organize and clean the laboratory space.
Serve as a professional liaison with internal departments and external vendors.
Audit quality checks conducted on the production floor, providing feedback and improvement recommendations.
Assist with lab design improvements related to safety, efficiency, and ergonomics.
Contribute to internal food safety and quality audit teams and lead problem-solving sessions.
Support training and development through personal growth and contributing to departmental goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Chemistry or a related technical field.
Minimum of 1 year of lab, quality control, or related experience.
Strong analytical and technical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
Ideal Candidate Has:
Experience in regulated environments (e.g., food, beverage, chemical, or pharma).
Familiarity with formal problem-solving methodologies and continuous improvement tools.
A proactive mindset with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
