Develop, design and execute in vitro and in vivo models to experimentally validate the candidate targets Analyze and present data at internal team meetings and stay abreast of relevant scientific literature Manage relationships with contract research organizations (CROs) and/or academic collaborators, including development of research plans and data analysis Work collaboratively across biology, human genetics and RNAi platform teams PhD degree in biology or biomedical sciences-related fields, postgraduate experience of >3 years is a plus but not required Strong track records showing proficiency in characterization of in vitro, ex vivo and in vivo disease models (eg. human iPSC, primary cells, rodent models), with deep understanding of the underlying biological pathways Proficiency in molecular biology and biochemistry is a strong plus Demonstrate broad knowledge across areas of biology including physiology, metabolic pathways and human genetics is strongly desired. The candidate must be flexible, able to adapt and apply his/her knowledge to new biological/therapeutic areas, thrive in a fast-paced team environment, and possess excellent communication skills (both written and oral). Prior experience in industry is a plus but not required.
