In 2021 we moved into abrand new ISO 17025 accredited laboratory in Madison, WI designed toconduct food chemistry testing specializing in infant formula,sole-source nutrition products, hemp and CBD, dietary supplements, and avariety of botanicals. Our testing portfolio includes vitamins,minerals, contaminants, pesticides and shelf-life studies. We test of avariety of instrumentation including UPLC, HPLC, GC, and LCMStechnologies. If you are looking for an opportunity to work for anexciting growth oriented company, we look forward to talking with you!Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: \*Applies GMP/ GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate \*Learns to conduct routine analyses independently and in compliance withapplicable methods, protocols, SOP\'s and regulatory agency guidelines\* Learns how to document work and maintains study documentation andlaboratory records \* Learns how to use laboratory equipment andsoftware appropriate for assigned tasks \* Attends and participates inproject meetings \* Learns to perform peer review of data \* Learns toplan assigned workload on a daily basis and effectively schedulemultiple assignments \* Contributes to a cohesive team environment andmaintains a positive attitude. Plans individual workload in coordinationwith team members \* Performs other related duties as assigned The idealcandidate would possess: \* Strong computer, scientific, andorganizational skills \* Excellent communication (oral and written) andattention to detail \* Ability to work independently and as part of ateam \* Self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude \*Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously,keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with companypolicies \* Bachelor\'s Degree in relevant field (laboratory experiencemay be substituted for a degree) \* Authorization to work in the UnitedStates indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship \* May work withpotentially hazardous materials \* Will be exposed to potential foodallergens (ex: milk, tree nuts, peanuts, fish, shellfish, etc) \*Overtime and weekend work as required \* Work requires some standing andsitting for long periods of time, including working within a laboratoryhood and standing at a bench top \* Work requires use of PPE (personalprotective equipment) Hours: Sunday - Thursday 1st shift Rate: 21/hr +4/hr weekend differential.
