Schedule Weekly Hours:24 Gundersen Health System has anMLT/MLS/CLS opening in our Referral Lab. ASCP certification is notrequired! What You\'ll Do: The Referral Laboratory department handlesall specimens that must be sent to another institution for testing. Thisincludes completing any referral laboratory-specific test request forms,processing of the sample according to the instructions of the testingfacility, packaging for transport, and uploading of results to thepatient lab results. Additionally, this area ensures that the referrallaboratory being used is credentialed by CLIA, CMS, and/or CAP as ameasure of the quality of testing performed. You will analyzeinformation, monitor quality performance, and take action to ensure theefficient delivery of accurate and timely laboratory test results andservices. This position will also be responsible for the development andimplementation of laboratory procedures, as well as the maintenance ofquality control in the laboratory understanding the requirements andstandards of regulating agencies to ensure compliance within thelaboratory.
