Entry-Level Laboratory Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Laboratory Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing a wide range of samples using advanced physical and chemical analytical techniques. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform chemical and microbiological analyses using sophisticated instrumentation such as:
    • pH meters, densitometers, viscometers, spectrophotometers, HPLC, GC, ICP, IC, and more.
  • Conduct microbiological tests including spore counts and contamination assessments.
  • Operate laboratory information systems including STARLiMS and Waters Empower.
  • Search databases for test methods, specifications, and standards.
  • Record, calculate, and report analytical results promptly and accurately.
  • Maintain compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, and 18001 standards.
  • Calibrate instruments and perform routine inspections.
  • Maintain lab cleanliness, manage supplies, and dispose of waste properly.
  • Train others on waste management and safety protocols.
  • Review analytical data and collaborate with team members to resolve issues.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Understand and comply with RCRA hazardous waste regulations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum: High school diploma with relevant laboratory experience.
  • Preferred: Bachelors degree in Chemistry or related field with laboratory experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to troubleshoot instrumentation and assist others.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
