Job Summary

Job Description
- Perform qualitative and quantitative analyses of chemical and physical properties of organic compounds in agrochemical formulations.
- Apply standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a high-throughput analytical chemistry lab.
- Execute routine and non-routine benchtop analytical tasks as requested by diverse stakeholders.
- Prepare complex liquid and solid matrices for analysis.
- Develop and optimize sample preparation and analytical methods.
- Lead efforts to develop new analytical methods and improve existing ones.
- Troubleshoot and maintain analytical instrumentation (HPLC/UPLC/LCMS/GC).
- Respond to collaborator inquiries and data troubleshooting/reporting requests promptly.
- Write reports and interpret analytical results for diverse stakeholders across R&D, manufacturing, and product supply.
- Communicate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
Skills Required
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in analytical chemistry, preferably in agrochemical formulations.
- Experience with robotic sample preparation is desirable.
- Ability to work under general supervision with limited oversight.
- Creative and adaptable, especially under tight deadlines.
- Passion for learning and developing new skillsets.
- Proficiency in preparing complex agrochemical sample matrices for HPLC/UPLC/LCMS/GC analysis.
- Experience with method development and sample cleanup techniques.
- Ability to troubleshoot and maintain analytical instrumentation.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to high-quality data.
- Demonstrated spirit of teamwork and flexibility to respond to changing analytical priorities.
- Self-motivated and able to multitask in a high-throughput, fast-paced laboratory environment.
Education/Training/Certifications
- Bachelors degree in Analytical Chemistry or a closely related field.

Pay Rate/Salary
- Estimated Salary: $28.00 to $36.50 per hour based on qualifications.
