While we can't solve mosquito bites or lost luggage, we can simplify a lot of the technical parts of travel, and we're looking for the best thinkers to help us do it.

How you'll make an impact:

A successful Senior Software Development Engineer I is an experienced full stack developer responsible for delivery of data and business intelligence tools to clients. This individual works well in a distributed team environment, has excellent communication and collaboration skills, loves to code, and enjoys contributing new ideas to Travelport's next generation of business intelligence tools. The Senior Software Development Engineer I is capable of learning quickly and working in any layer of multiple end-user Business Intelligence reporting applications. The chosen candidate must be capable of working closely with other highly skilled team members and providing gentle and considerate mentoring where needed.

Your role in action:

  • Build and maintain business intelligence applications using .NET.
  • Collaborate with the team and stakeholders to clarify end-user requirements and specifications.
  • Mentor junior developers and test engineers.

Could this be you?

  • 5+ years of .NET software development experience (C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core, MVC, WPF, WCF, ASP.NET)
  • Experience working in multiple layers of end-user applications.
  • Experience developing web services (Examples: Microservices, RESTful web services).
  • Interest in developing applications and API's that utilize large language models (LLM's).
  • Good communication skills, including clearly spoken and written English.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with emphasis on the ability to collaborate with a remote team.
  • Experience developing with GenAI is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Python is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Amazon Web Services is a plus.
