Food Chemist Gummy Manufacturing FacilityAs a Food Chemist, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing gummyrecipes, ensuring product consistency, and maintaining compliance withfood safety regulations. You will work closely with R & D, production,and quality assurance teams to bring new products to life and improve existingDUTIES:Formulate and refine gummy recipes, including flavor, texture, color, andnutritional content.Conduct ingredient functionality testing and shelf-life studies.Ensure compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP(Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) protocols.Maintain accurate documentation of formulations, test results, and processchanges.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scale up recipes from lab toproduction.Troubleshoot formulation and production issues to ensure product quality andconsistency.Stay current with industry trends, ingredients, and regulatory updates.REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor or master's degree in food chemistry, Food Science, or a relatedfield.Minimum of 2 years of experience in food product development, preferably inconfectionery or gummy manufacturing.Proven experience in formulating recipes and scaling them for production.Strong understanding of GMP and HACCP standards; relevant certifications arehighly preferred; willing to trainOTHER REQUIREMENTS:Familiarity with analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, andspectroscopy is a plus.Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.PREFERRED SKILLS:HACCP CertificationGMP Compliance TrainingCertified Food Scientist (CFS) preferredWAGE:$20/Hr to startJOB SITE:Trinidad, ColoradoBENEFITS:Competitive salaryPaid time off and holidaysOpportunities for professional development and advancementA collaborative, innovative, and supportive work environmentAPPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: If you meet the minimum requirements for thisposition, please click on How to Apply to view applicationinformation.
