The anticipated wage for this position is between $34 and $35.67. Hourly wage may depend upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors.
Position Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented team member with a strong background in Analytical Chemistry, particularly in the analysis of agrochemical formulations and products. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, adaptable to fast-changing priorities, and passionate about working in a dynamic lab environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform qualitative and quantitative analyses ofanicpounds in agrochemical formulations to support Bayer's Crop Science R D pipeline.
Use HPLC, UPLC, LCMS, and GC techniques to analyze active ingredients in both liquid and solid formulations.
Prepareplex sample matrices for analysis; optimize and develop analytical methods as needed.
Handle routine and non-routine analytical tasks with minimal supervision in a high-throughput lab setting.
Troubleshoot and maintain analytical instruments.
Interpret and report analytical results clearly to R D, manufacturing, and product supply stakeholders.
Respond promptly to requests from collaborators, and assist in resolving analytical issues.
Collaborate with the Formulations Analytics Core Team within the Analytical Sciences Program.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Analytical Chemistry or a related field.
1-3 years of hands-on experience with HPLC, UPLC, LCMS, GC, and sample preparation.
Strong understanding of chemical analysis inplex agrochemical matrices.
Skilled in troubleshooting instruments and developing analytical methods.
Experience with sample cleanup techniques and robotic sample preparation is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail, time management, andanizational skills.
Strongmunication skillsable to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced, high-throughput lab environment.
A collaborative and adaptable mindset with a strongmitment to teamwork.
