Job Description
Start time can be 6am or 12pm Medical Lab Scientist (no Techs) Generalist duties. Acute lab in 25 bed/9bed ER. CLS must be able to work and think independently as there is only 1 CLS on duty per shift. Limited Microbiology, gram staining required. Blood Bank does Type and Screen, PEG/AHG, Electonic/IS/Full XM, DAT. Antibody ID is managed by the CLS on duty, but the Antibody ID and Antigen testing is sent to the BB reference lab. BB uses Wellsky. Variable - Days 0600-1430 (2x/week). Evenings 1200-2030 (3x/week). Local Radius is 50 miles - please reach out to AM for local rate Ratios: 1 Years of experience REQ: 2, hospital clinical lab. First-timers accepted: Yes, depending on experience Weekend REQ: Certs REQ: CA CDPH, ASCP Is on-call REQ: No Will this traveler need to float between like units? Open to accommodating block schedule? Per manager discretion Pending License accepted: No RTO Restrictions: RTO must be included at time of submission Guaranteed Hours: facility is able to call off once per two week pay period
