Seeking a dedicated and motivated individual with strong attention to detail and organization to join our research and development team as a Laboratory Technician. This position requires some knowledge of laboratory duties and/or biological sciences. The candidate will perform comprehensive clinical laboratory procedures of low and high complexity as directed by the laboratory manager. General responsibilities include maintenance of laboratory equipment, data entry, maintenance of laboratory records including quality control, instrument logs, and inventory of reagents and supplies. Functions: Prepare reagents and controls Perform daily and weekly maintenance of equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and other applicable documentation Maintain laboratory and equipment cleanliness and functionality (on-the-job training provided) Handle clinical sample testing (blood, urine), including sample receipt, log-in, preparation, testing, recording results, and disposal Organize stock and maintain inventory; order supplies as needed Adhere to existing safety standards and contribute to improving laboratory safety practices Provide support to direct and extended R D team as necessary Perform other duties as assignment Requirements: Associate degree with 3 years' relevant experience Or a 4-year bachelor's degree in chemistry, Biology, or other STEM-related field with 0-2 years' experience Experience with urine chemistry and/or hematology diagnostic testing and instrumentation preferred
