JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Description JOB OBJECTIVE: This 3-year
postdoctoral position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate between
the Advanced Technologies Group at Promega and the genome engineering
group at AstraZeneca. The successful candidate will work at Promega\'s
Madison site, with the possibility of a six-month research period at
AstraZeneca in Gothenburg, Sweden. The primary objective is to develop
innovative tools for integrating Promega\'s reporter technologies into
cells, with the use of AI playing an important role in driving this
project forward. The ideal candidate will thrive in a multidisciplinary,
highly collaborative environment that fosters creativity and innovation
in life science tool development. \*This is a three-year Post Doc
opportunity, which, in an ideal scenario, will conclude with the final
six months of the project being conducted at AstraZeneca\'s headquarters
in Sweden, contingent on the employee\'s ability to relocate. CORE
DUTIES: 1. Designing and executing experiments to advance the assigned
project and collaborating with team members to achieve project
objectives. 2. Presenting findings in company and scientific meetings
and contributing to the publication of results in peer-reviewed

QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Genetics, or
related field with 0-2 years post-graduate experience. 2. Experience in
protein engineering, including proficiency in utilizing protein design
tools and machine learning methodologies. 3. Demonstrated ability to
implement AI into experimental design and data analysis. 4. Ability to
work in multidisciplinary team and effectively present data and findings
to stakeholders. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Strong track record of
peer-reviewed publications in biomolecular sciences. 2. Familiarity with
RNA-guided genome editing approaches, such as CRISPR-Cas systems. 3.
Practical experience with mammalian cell culture PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 1.
Ability to work at a lab bench or tissue culture hood for extended
period of time. 2. Ability to wear standard lab protection equipment
(gloves, lab coat, safety glasses, etc.). 3. Ability to use a computer
