Are you an experienced lab technician with a passion for safety, precision, and teamwork? Join our dynamic team as a Quality Control (QC) Technician supporting surface chemistry operations in our Fort Worth facility.
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct quality testing and analysis of chemical products to ensure compliance with internal specifications and customer standards
- Record and maintain test data using SAP, Excel, and lab notebooks
- Approve raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods for production and shipment
- Recommend product adjustments to operations teams based on test results
- Operate forklifts and assist with oversight of contract lab personnel
- Uphold strict safety protocols and participate in continuous improvement efforts
- Work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, with overtime as needed
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or related science (preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in a chemical manufacturing laboratory (preferred)
- strong knowledge of lab instrumentation, chemical analysis, and data entry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Effective communicator with excellent multitasking abilities

Responsibilities
- Commitment to safety and following all laboratory, plant, and company safety rules and procedures, as well as wearing all required PPE
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as function independently
- Knowledge and ability of instrumentation and testing procedures to perform analysis of chemical products as well as recommend product adjustments to operations personnel to ensure products meet quality specifications and standards
- Ability to record QC data in laboratory notebook, SAP, and Excel database
- Ability to perform quality control analysis and tests as required
- Responsible for approving raw materials, intermediates, and in-process results for use in production, and release quality approved finished products for shipment to customers
- Available to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required
- Operate a forklift as required
- Provide training and general oversight of contract personnel as necessary
- Perform other duties as required
