About the Role

As an Analytical Chemist, you will play a vital role in advancing our purification processes of organic compounds using state-of-the-art distillation systems. What You'll Do

  • Set up, optimize, and troubleshoot advanced distillation equipment, including heating, cooling, vacuum, and pressure systems.
  • Accurately measure, transport, and prepare chemical samples following strict protocols.
  • Utilize sophisticated analytical instruments like gas chromatography to evaluate product quality and composition.
  • Analyze data to confirm process compliance, identify deviations, and implement process improvements.
  • Monitor critical process parameters to maximize yield, quality, and consistency across batches.
  • Compile detailed technical reports and test results to support ongoing process optimization.
  • Uphold the highest safety standards, ensuring all equipment and laboratory environments are maintained with excellence.
  • Keep your workspace organized, clean, and compliant with safety regulations.
  • Mentor and support fellow team members, sharing your expertise and fostering a collaborative learning environment.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 2-5 years of hands-on experience in distillation and analytical chemistry techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of vacuum distillation principles and proficiency with gas chromatography.
  • Experience working with hazardous materials and adhering to safety protocols.
  • Ability to handle physical tasks, including moving heavy containers (up to 700 lbs.) and working at heights using ladders.
  • A proactive mindset with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
