The projectwill focus on the development of a mixed quantum/classical method andcomputer code for the modelling of collisional energy transfer betweenmolecules. Duties and Responsibilities -Carry out theoretical research in quantum chemistry on the developmentof a mixed quantum/classical algorithm for the description ofcollisional energy transfer, with focus on vibrational energytransfer. - Write and test MQCT code. Conduct computer simulations witha growing degree of independence, work well with others in the lab.Provide research summaries and reports weekly, meet regularly with PI todiscuss next steps and expectations. \*\*\*\*\* OTHER EXPERIENCE ANDQUALIFICATIONS: Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Bachelor\'sdegree Good working knowledge of FORTRAN programing language. PreferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Candidate should have a solid grasp ofthe principles of Quantum Mechanics, Molecular Physics and PhysicalChemistry. A background in quantum dynamics is preferable. Effectivecommunication and organizational skills are important to successfullycarry out this project.
