Position Summary:

In this position, you will contribute to biopharmaceutical analysis using the following chromatographic techniques: ion exchange, reversed phase, and size exclusion chromatography with UV detection and mass spectrometry. In addition, glycan analysis and capillary electrophoresis may be utilized. You will work with a highly motivated team in a fast-paced environment developing methods, performing experiments, documenting work, writing reports, and presenting to clients and technical staff.

  • Scientific Knowledge: Demonstrate proficiency in both the design and execution of experiments, and the presentation of results to clients and team members.
  • Technical Writing: An ability to write summary reports detailing study execution and results.

Educational Background/Experience:

  • Senior Research Associate requires a Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline with 5+ years applicable industry experience or Master's degree and 3+ years of applicable industry experience. Associate Scientist requires a Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline with 4+ years applicable industry experience or Master's degree and 2+ years of applicable industry experience.
  • Technological Knowledge: An aptitude for analytical lab instrumentation operation and troubleshooting. Previous experience with any of the following techniques/instrumentation: HPLC, capillary electrophoresis, UV-Vis, mass spectrometry, biophysical techniques (SV-AUC, CD, DSC, FITR), ELISA, glycan analysis

Salary Range:

Senior Research Associate: $74,000 - $102,300

Associate Scientist: $84,000 - $115,500

Salary range provided per current averages and expectations. The salary and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
