Software Development Engineer

Design, develop and test user experience applications developed in a variety of programming languages and using multiple frameworks; Design, develop and test (including automated, continuous integration) key product features/ components of our platform; Develop systems that are highly reliable, scalable, but surprisingly easy to maintain; Participate in projects to improve product architecture, robustness and performance; Help improve the availability, performance, scalability, and security of the product; Lead and participate in production deployment activities of features and diagnose and resolve issues brought up from the production environment; Evaluate new technologies and help incorporate them into the technology stack; Contribute to the development of engineering best practices; Collaborate with Client Services, Operations, and other Engineering teams to triage, prioritize, and resolve software programming problems. May allow for partial telecommuting.Employer will accept a Master's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and completion of a university-level course, research project, internship, or thesis or one (1) year of experience involving the following:Scala or Java; SQL and MySQL; Unix or Linux; Git and Subversion; Agile development methodologies; and Object Oriented Design.To apply email resume to ....
