Job Summary
The Research Associate must have excellent tissue culture skills (human cell line and stem cell culture preferred) in order to be trained in GMP grade culture of continuous human cell lines, multi potent stem cells such as mesenchymal stromal cells (MSC), hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) and pluripotent stem cells, such as human embryonic stem cells (hESCs) and induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs). Human cell lines will also be used as producer cells for the manufacturing of gene therapy vectors, such as lentiviral, retroviral and adeno-associated viral (AAV) vectors. Skills in gene therapy vector manufacturing are required, as the Research Associate will be manufacturing and purifying such vectors under GMP conditions.

Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position
Bachelor's degree.
Experience with manufacturing GMP grade Human Induced Pluripotent Stem Cells (iPSC) and Human Embryonic Stem Cells (hESC).
Science Lab Administration experience.
Tissue Culture experience.
Knowledge and practical experience with manufacturing all kinds GMP grade cell types.
Required knowledge of computer word processing, data management, and spreadsheet software.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree.
Experience with GMP manufacturing of drug formulations and GMP storage of such drug formulations.
Communication skills required to coordinate and verify results, monitor for completeness and accuracy.
Knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures and Quality Control requirements in a GMP lab setting.
Knowledge of proper product documentation and labeling at a GMP level.
