This Software development position with Amazon Lists is a fit for someone who enjoys and thrives owning low latency, highly available stacks/services requiring strong problem-solving skills, has a solid computer science foundation, knowledge of backend design patterns, APIs and takes pride in operations excellence.

Key job responsibilities
Work on the following:
- AWS offerings such as EC2, ELB, DynamoDB, Fargate, Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, Cloudwatch Native AWS (NAWS)
- Design and architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
- Front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node
- JavaScript frameworks such as angular and react

A day in the life
Amazon Lists Partner Experience Team vends business logic & storage as a service. Our services are leveraged by clients to support Lists, Registries and List-like experiences across Amazon CDO and subsidiaries. The team supports 16+ businesses and 60+ clients across Amazon.

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
