Akkodis is seeking a Scientist for a Contract job with a client in Framingham MA . This role supports the development and tech transfer of scalable purification processes and contributes to life cycle management and regulatory documentation. Rate Range: $82/hour to $86/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Scientist job responsibilities include: Develop and optimize scalable downstream purification processes for various biologics including monoclonal and bispecific antibodies, fusion proteins, and enzymes. Support technology transfer activities to internal and external manufacturing sites, ensuring robust process implementation. Conduct process characterization studies using DOE approaches to define proven acceptable ranges (PAR). Operate and troubleshoot purification equipment, including chromatography systems (e.g., AKTA) and filtration units (TFF, UF/DF). Author technical protocols and reports and contribute to regulatory filings and lifecycle management documentation. Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to support pilot-scale studies, data analysis, and continuous process improvement. Desired Qualifications: M.S. in Biotechnology or related field with 3+ years of experience, or B.S. with 5+ years of relevant experience. Minimum of 3-5 years in downstream process development for biologics. Hands-on experience with chromatography and filtration techniques (e.g., TFF, UF/DF, AKTA systems) in a cGMP environment.
