Medical Laboratory Scientist (aka MLS/MT/MLT)

There are needs for all of the following: Generalist Blood Bank Microbiology Histology Quality Tech Supervisor for off-shift As a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for independently performing and monitoring laboratory testing of patient specimens according to established procedures and regulatory requirements. You will confirm, interpret, correlate and report normal and abnormal patient results. You will recognize technical, instrumental and/or physiological problems and initiate resolutions and assume responsibility for accuracy, quality control and required instrument maintenance. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory, Chemical, Physical, or Biological Science required. Certification as a Medical Technologist (or equivalent) or Medical Laboratory Technician or as a categorical technologist (e.g., C, H, I, BB, M) by a recognized professional organization (e.g., ASCP, AMT).
