Sino Biological's Center for Bioprocessing (C4B) is seeking a Scientist focused on downstream bioprocessing using mammalian expression systems for recombinant protein and antibody p urification and characterization . This role offers a strong career development path in industrial biomanufacturing and CRO services, supporting both hands-on laboratory work and project execution. Job Title: Bioprocessing Scientist (Downstream)

Department: Center for Bioprocessing (C4B), Sino Biological US, Inc.

Position Type: Full-time Key Responsibilities

• Perform purification of recombinant proteins and antibodies expressed in mammalian systems using FPLC/HPLC, especially Cytiva AKTA systems.
• Design, execute, and optimize purification workflows to support diverse client and internal projects.
• Collaborate with o ther teams to ensure effective process handoff and alignment.
• Support project planning and scheduling to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including batch records, lab notebooks, and inventory logs.
• Ensure laboratory safety compliance, including PPE usage and adherence to OSHA guidelines.
• Assist in equipment calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting as needed.
• Contribute to workflow improvement and process development initiatives. Qualifications
• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field.
• A few years of relevant experience (post top-degree) in downstream bioprocessing, particularly protein and antibody purification.
• H ands-on experience with Cytiva AKTA systems is required.
• Strong knowledge of protein purification workflows and techniques.
• At least a basic understanding of upstream mammalian expression procedures (e.g., transfection, cell culture).
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, potentially including weekend day as part of a five-day work week.
