Compensation Range: $29.00-$31.00 per hour ( e.g., the job posting is not necessarily reflective of actual compensation that may be earned, and actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as locations, education, experience, and skillset).
Hours Worked : Typically, Monday through Friday, forty-hours per week.However, must be flexible to meet the needs of the department and complete other projects as assigned.
Position Summary:
The Molecular Biologist III is responsible for helping develop innovative, game changing therapies for the treatment of neuro-degenerative diseases and their associated complications using molecular biology techniques.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform molecular biology assays such as ELISA, Westerns, cell culture, bioassays
- Perform in-vivo work including mouse and rat handling, dosing, blood and tissue collection, and tissue sectioning
- Perform molecular cloning techniques.
- Performs testing independently with little or no guidance from management
- Resolve escalated client issues.
- Is a subject matter expert (SME) in assigned area and maintains up to date knowledge of current regulations / industry standards, methods and protocols for products to be tested.
- Perform final review and interpret data / reports. Perform critical error review.
- Analyze data, create reports & presentations for team meetings.
- Review and close root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Works directly with the client to implement new testing or process initiatives.
- Assist in the coordination of technical & administrative aspects of various departmental projects, providing direction to techs.
- Perform background/literature research to help further client research goals.
- Follow the guidelines set forth with clients and in the Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services, Inc Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environmental policies and procedures.
- Adhere to the requirements of the BV-CPS Quality System.
- Other duties as defined by Manager, department needs and workload
Skills & Proficiencies:
- Familiarity with setting up and running biochemical assays.
- Conducting cell culture and maintaining multiple cell lines. Ability to train on all technical aspects in data analysis in the assigned laboratory
- Ability to oversee large projects involving multiple staff members
- Strong leadership skills Organizational and time management skills
- Ability to perform multiple tasks
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet or exceed deadlines
- Proficiency with Windows, Word & Excel

Education and Experience:
- Degree requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Biology or closely related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience with molecular biology techniques
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted in lieu of above.
