Top skills required:
1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering, Information Systems or related field.
2. 8+ years of overall combined automation and functional testing experience with prior knowledge testing broadband or mobility network interfacing systems.
3. 6+ years of experience in working in building automation testbed for back-end applications (experience in broadband CPE & network interactions is highly desired).
4. 4+ years of experience with building automation testbed from start to end and using that for validation of the platform capabilities
5. 3+ years of experience in working with Python, SQL and other NO SQL query languages, Selenium / Cucumber, ETL, etc
6. Can work independently as a self-driving person.
7. Detail oriented in execution and focused on testing from a customer point of view
8. Must have good verbal and written communications Skills

Job description:
Position is for an Automation Tester. This position will help maintain and grow functional and regression test suite.
They will need to run manual testing at times.
They will create automated tests to validate story functionality within a sprint.
They will work closely with the developer to fix bugs and ensure code meets high quality standards.
They need to have experience in API testing.
They should have knowledge of API concepts and technologies.
They should have knowledge of standard automation testing frameworks such as Cucumber, PyTest and Selinum.

Overall Purpose:
The Software Development in Test (SDET) Engineer is responsible for developing tools/frameworks to solve complex software problems.
Bake quality and effectiveness into the development process by assessing the root causes of issues and recommending test coverage and best practice.

Roles and Responsibilities:
1) Develop robust automation framework for mobile/web application testing.
2) Build the necessary software/solution to execute and keep track of application quality and performance.
3) Research and keep up to date to harden SDLC processes via new tools or implementing steps to increase stability and reliability.
4) Debug large and complex codebase to assess the root cause of test failure, Code review and suggest test coverage.
