As part of the fast-paced and driven PepsiCo Regulatory Affairs team, you will be responsible for ensuring faultless compliance of ingredients and system documentation for several brands within the PepsiCo Foods US Business Unit. This team is critical to the innovation/renovation process from ideas all the way through to launch. You will have the opportunity to interact regularly with many other functions including but not limited to Product Development, Marketing, Procurement, and Legal.
Responsibilities- This role is responsible for ensuring ingredient compliance and approving specifications for the US Foods business, including new ingredient approvals to support innovation initiatives.
- You will review ingredient questionnaires and collaborate with suppliers to ensure complete and accurate data, which will feed into our internal systems, generate label content, and drive final packaging graphics.
- Additionally, you will manage brand labeling for the US Foods Business, requiring a strong understanding of US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) labeling regulations.
- Your expertise will ensure the accuracy of ingredient statements, nutrition facts, allergen declarations, claims, and other labeled components.
- As a Regulatory Associate Scientist, you will monitor, interpret, and ensure ongoing compliance with current and future US regulations.
- The position demands exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a passion for maintaining accurate documentation.
- Project management, prioritization, and influencing abilities will be essential to meet deadlines and drive successful outcomes.
- A collaborative mindset and a genuine desire to support your team are critical to success in this role.
- A basic knowledge of FDA labeling regulations is beneficial but can be developed during onboarding.
Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $64,300 - $107,650.

Qualifications
- BS in Nutrition Science, Food Science, Engineering, Technology or equivalent as minimum
- Advanced computer skills
- 1-2 years’ experience in regulatory affairs, quality, technology, or systems management preferred.
- Excellent computer skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize workload, balance multiple tasks and work independently.
- Strong sense of urgency and commitment to meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience working in product specification, regulatory and/or product lifecycle management tools.
