QC Chemist I - 3rd Shift

The QC Chemist I will ensure accurate, reproducible, and timely QC testing in directly supporting in process manufacturing, release testing, and stability studies. Method development and validation activities encompassed as well. They will have the opportunity to:

• Perform testing on in-process product, final product, and raw materials for routine testing, validation testing, and stability testing
• Communicate results through appropriate documentation and batch records, statistical analysis and trending
• Perform instrument maintenance
• Identify and report equipment and method failures
• Identify areas in the lab for continuous improvement
• Participate in method improvements in the laboratory

This position could be a great fit for you If you have a high attention detail and enjoy working in a fast-paced laboratory along with the following:

• BS in Chemistry or related life science
• Experience in GMP lab applications
• Basic understanding of chemical technology and methodology
• Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software
• Proven ability to work independently as well as function effectively as a team member
• Proven ability to maintain a high attention to detail

Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 9:00pm - 7:30am

Starting Salary: $57,000 - $59,000 + $200/pay period shift premium
