Job Title: Laboratory Technician
Location(s): ark, DE
Position Description:
A lab technician position to manufacture latex particle reagents to support in-vitro diagnostic product.
Major Functions And Responsibilities Include:
Manufacture latex particle and buffer reagents both at lab scale and under bulk manufacturing settings.
Manufacture nano-particles by emulsion polymerization.
Maintain various lab equipment, perform necessary calibration, verification and maintenance.
Perform routing analytical tests, such as pH, particle size, UV-Vis absorbance.
Follow GMP documentation practices.
Assist with equipment and process validation to scale up reagent formulation.
Required Education and Experience are:
Understand acid base titration. Understand solid phase chemical modification. Understand polymerization mechanism.
Have general chemistry lab techniques, such as mixing, filtration, sonication, centrifuging.
Know to safely handle chemicals and biochemicals.
Experience following written procedures. Comply with company change control policy. Can escalate nonconformance findings and follow appropriated deviation process.
Trained on good laboratory practices, good documentation practices.
Bachelor's degree in chemistry or equivalent work experiences.
Have a minimum of 2 years experiences in chemistry or biology labs.
