Quality Control Laboratory Technician
Job Description

Perform essential quality control testing of in-process products using prescribed procedures and techniques. Make necessary formula adjustments based on test results to ensure products meet specifications. Document adjustments on the batch ticket and QC card, and approve finished goods that meet specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality control testing of in-process products using prescribed procedures.
  • Make necessary formula adjustments based on quality control results to bring products into specification.
  • Document any adjustments made on the batch ticket and QC card.
  • Approve finished goods that meet specifications and sign off on the batch ticket and QC card.
  • Test and sample every in-process product.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in Chemistry, FTIR, and Microscopy.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Chemistry.
  • Exposure to FTIR and Microscopy in an academic setting.
  • Proficient in laboratory techniques and color matching.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Good communication skills.
  • Team player.
  • Motivated and shows initiative.
