Responsibilities

What you'll be challenged to do:

This position is looking for a Senior person with 20 plus years of experience as a Chemical/Process Engineer to join our Marine Industrial Department.

In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Lead other engineers in perform design/analysis. Including Plant Layout (industrial, chemical or manufacturing) and General Arrangement Drawings.
  • Develop process flow diagrams and piping and instrumentation diagrams.
  • Material handling and process equipment sizing, selection and procurement.
  • Coordinate structural steel framing of industrial equipment.
  • Process piping and pump layout/design.
  • Preparation of design documents.
  • Perform evaluation studies and develop reports.
  • Preparation of specifications.
  • Perform field work during design, analysis and construction phases.
  • Perform submittal reviews including equipment fabrication drawings.
  • Assist Project Manager in monitoring project tasks to maintain budget, schedule and scope of work.
Qualifications

Wha t you bring to our firm:

  • BS in Chemical Engineering
  • 20 plus years of experience in the checmical/process engineering industry.
  • Familiar with Flow modeling software, Chemical process modeling, Equipment sizing, Flow diagrams, P&IDs.

  • Self-motivated and able to produce high quality results within time and budget constraints.
  • Must be proficient in the use of computer applications.
  • Actively engages multiple perspectives when solving problems, seeks to learn from peers, and encourages reciprocal learning among team members.

Compensation:

The Salary range for this position is $150,000-$175,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
