Job Title: Chemical Operator
Job Description
The Chemical Operator will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process, focusing on formulation work and mixing batches of chemicals to scale up products. This role requires hands-on experience in chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing, particularly with formulations and batch mixing.
Responsibilities
- Perform operations as described in SOPs and GMPs.
- Test the quality of raw materials through chemical analysis.
- Conduct experimental batch mixing.
- Adjust and document experimental batch mixes until the finished product meets specific specifications.
- Test the quality of products through chemical analysis.
- Collect and process data for analysis.
- Sample, inspect, measure, and approve components and chemicals for production usage.
- Inspect and approve finished products.
- Verify packaging weights and labeling.
Essential Skills
- Previous experience in chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Experience with formulations and mixing batches of chemicals.
- Lab Tech, Batch, Mix, Chemical Operating, Batch Making, Calciner, Solution Prep, Process Monitoring, QC Testing.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in a chemical manufacturing environment. No professional certifications or licenses required.
Work Environment
The role is based in a pilot scale manufacturing environment, operating on a third shift schedule from 11 PM to 7 AM, Monday to Friday.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
