You will be the Quality Control Specialist for the Ocala Operations team. Our team is responsible for building circuit cards, wiring harnesses, and electro-assemblies, specializing in low-volume, high-mix and high-volume production.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Quality Control Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing and developing inspection information for units, assemblies, and systems. Your responsibilities will include:
Reviewing specifications, prints, and manufacturing process plans to ensure inspection accuracy
Interpreting engineering drawings and industry
specifications
Recommending modifications to quality or production standards
Assisting in First Article Inspections, process surveillance, and quality management system audits
Using hand tools for measuring, such as calipers and micrometers

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
General knowledge of quality principles Strong communication skills (both oral and written).
Ability to work independently and as a team player.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
ISO-9001/AS9100 knowledge.
CCA/ECA experience, Cable/Harness experience, Corrective Action process, MRB experience, Military/Aerospace specs.
Understanding of root cause analysis and corrective action.
