Travel Medical Laboratory Technician (Med Tech) Nights Jasper, TX

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a qualified Travel Medical Laboratory Technician (Med Tech) for a 13-week contract assignment in Jasper, TX.

Job Details:
Assignment Type: Travel Contract
Location: Jasper, TX
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 7 on / 7 off Nights, ThursdayWednesday (8:00 PM 6:00 AM)

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of high complexity laboratory tests in areas such as Blood Banking, Microbiology, Chemistry, Hematology, Immunology, and Urinalysis/Body Fluids.

• Accurately analyze specimens and report results following laboratory protocols and procedures.

• Ensure compliance with all laboratory regulations and quality control standards.

• Maintain equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the laboratory environment meets safety and regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with medical staff to provide timely and accurate laboratory data.

• Document results and maintain records in the laboratory information system.

Requirements:
One of the following educational qualifications:

1. Associate's Degree or higher in Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited institution, or equivalent laboratory training

Completion of an official U.S. military medical laboratory procedures training course (minimum 50 weeks)

Laboratory training including:

Completion of a clinical laboratory training program accredited by ABHES, NAACLS

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible (ASCP or AMT preferred)
