Location: Lutz, FL
Status: Full Time, Exempt: No
Shift Hours: 8:00PM-6:30AM
Weekend Work: Every Other
On Call: No
Responsibilities:
Performs all diagnostic testing and quality controls
Prepares reagents
Reports results according to established policies and procedures
Performs moderate to high complexity testing
Uses cand maintains computer applications appropriate to the position
Maintains equipment and supplies
Assists with training and orientation of testing personnel
Evaluates competencies
Works independently and in a team
Demonstrates organizational, time management, critical thinking, written, and verbal skills
Uses and understands medical terminology
Must have customer service and interpersonal skills
Administrative and clerical skills
Knowledge of regulatory standards appropriate to position
Performs other duties as assigned
Certification & Licensure:
Required - State of Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist License
Preferred - ASCP certified
Education:
Required - Associate's
Preferred - Bachelor's
Experience:
Required - 2 years laboratory related
