The Quality Control Technician position will be working hand in hand with our entire Production team to ensure products manufactured at our facility meet and exceed the specifications of the project or other governing authority over the project. The QC Technician assists in maintaining and performing the responsibilities of our own internal Quality Assurance program, including but not limited to pre pour inspections, post pour inspections and concrete testing. The successful candidate will report to our Quality Control Manager and assist them with the overall effective execution of our QC Program. The ideal candidate would have a strong work ethic, high standard of ethics and trust, extreme attention to detail, experience in the concrete field, enthusiastic and professional self-starter with "get it done" attitude, capability to read and interpret detailed drawings and have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and communicate with all levels of the organization. Strong focus on teamwork by assisting with continuous improvement through education and information sharing.
Some of the job responsibilities include but are not limited to ; prepour product inspections, post pour product inspections, documenting all findings, working with the manufacturing team to make continuous improvements based on day to day challenges, communicating internally and externally in regards to Quality Assurance program and process, ability to dig into and discover root cause of production related issues and present solutions, data recording into QC Software, perform concrete tests utilizing ACI test methods, teach and train others the importance of "making it right the first time" and full participation in the Safety Program.
