Job Description The QC Chemist is responsible for conducting routine and advanced testing in a departmental setting, operating specialized equipment, and participating in investigation activities. This role focuses on ensuring the quality and safety of pharmaceutical products through rigorous testing and analysis. Responsibilities
- Conduct routine testing or analysis within a specific group or department.
- Perform advanced and critical testing as required.
- Operate specialized equipment and conduct specialized skill testing.
- Participate actively in investigation activities.
- Skilled and hands-on experience with ICP-MS, ICP-OES, UV, HPLC, GC, IC, and Dissolution instruments.
- Ability to operate computer and analytical instrument software such as Empower, Chromeleon, Lab solutions, and LIMS.
- Proficiency in HPLC and dissolution processes.
- Experience in pharmaceutical chemistry and wet chemistry techniques.
- Familiarity with titration, UV-Vis spectroscopy, and Karl Fisher titration.
- Must have a life science-related degree, preferably in chemistry.
- 2-15 years of experience in pharmaceutical chemistry using HPLC.
