- Perform Laboratory Testing: Execute a variety of tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and final products to evaluate performance and ensure quality standards are met.
- Manage Lab Inventory: Track and replenish lab supplies, chemicals, and equipment to maintain smooth day-to-day operations and prevent downtime.
- Prepare Samples and Scale-Up Batches: Accurately formulate and mix materials for testing and production trials, supporting the transition from lab-scale to full-scale manufacturing.
- Purge Retains: Dispose of retained samples in accordance with the retention schedule and safety protocols to maintain compliance and lab efficiency.
- Maintain Detailed Lab Records: Keep a thorough, accurate, and witnessed laboratory notebook documenting all experiments, observations, and results.
- Ensure Lab Cleanliness: Regularly clean and sanitize workspaces, equipment, and print areas to uphold safety and hygiene standards.
- Organize Lab Materials: Implement and maintain a structured storage system for consumables and spare parts, aligned with the Chemical Hygiene Plan.
- Support R&D Initiatives: Collaborate with the product development team by providing technical support, data collection, and feedback on experimental outcomes.
- Maintain and Calibrate Equipment: Perform routine maintenance, calibrations, and basic troubleshooting on lab instruments to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Experience: At least 1 year of hands-on laboratory experience in an industrial or academic setting
