Lab Technician

Location: Waco, TX

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Lab Technician to perform routine analytical testing that supports quality control processes. This role requires data interpretation, sample coordination, and data entry into laboratory applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in laboratory techniques, with experience operating analytical equipment such as analytical balances, total carbon analyzers, spectrophotometers, and pH meters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct analytical testing to support quality control processes in a GMP laboratory setting
  • Operate and maintain HPLC instrumentation and other analytical equipment
  • Utilize data acquisition software, including Chromeleon, ChemStation, and Empower
  • Interpret results, maintain accurate documentation, and comply with regulatory standards
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while also being able to work independently
  • Maintain safety protocols and quality standards in pharmaceutical manufacturing
Qualifications & Skills

Required:

  • Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field (or Associates degree with relevant experience)
  • 0-3 years of experience with HPLC instrumentation in a laboratory setting
  • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail

Preferred:

  • Experience in a GMP laboratory setting
  • Knowledge of wet chemistry techniques
  • Exposure to HPLC / GC testing and data analysis
Work Environment

This is an on-site role in Waco, TX. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced laboratory environment that values team collaboration and independent problem-solving. Potential for overtime is available.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
