About the Role The Andrologist /Endocrinologist Laboratory Technician plays an essential role in the fertility journey by providing exceptional care and laboratory expertise to support patients and their treatment plans. This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, compassionate, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, the Andrologist/Endocrinologist Laboratory Technician ensures accurate testing and processing, contributing directly to patient care and outcomes. We are seeking a Andrologist/Endocrinologist Laboratory Technician to join our dedicated team at Pinnacle Fertility- Oregon. This is a full-time, onsite position , working Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM with some variation. Rotating holiday coverage is also required. Key Responsibilities Perform blood endocrine testing, including hormone assays for FSH, LH, progesterone, estradiol, and related reproductive hormones. Operate, calibrate, and maintain specialized laboratory equipment, including the hormone analyzer, ensuring accuracy and reliability. Collect, process, and analyze blood samples for hormone testing, providing timely and accurate results for patient assessments. Conduct comprehensive semen analysis, including sperm count, motility, morphology, viability, and preparation for procedures such as insemination and cryopreservation. Adhere to laboratory SOPs, OSHA guidelines, HIPAA regulations, and CLIA standards for quality and compliance. Maintain laboratory inventory, assist with equipment maintenance, and participate in quality control (QC), quality assessment (QA), and quality improvement (QI) programs. Educate patients on specimen collection procedures and provide clear instructions. Track patient progress and collaborate with the clinical team to ensure adherence to treatment plans. Perform other duties and projects as assigned. Position Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in a science-related field is required Experience: 1-3 years of relevant lab experience outside of course work (preferred). Skills: Proficiency with compound microscopes and aseptic techniques, and ability to handle hazardous specimens. Completion of on-the-job training and any required certification exams. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and maintain patient confidentiality. Compensation & Benefits Hourly Rate: $20.00- $24.00 per hour (final offers based on experience, skills, and qualifications).
