Vitalant is hiring a Medical Laboratory Scientist to bring skilled technical support to our Blood Bank Reference Laboratory. This position will work Evening shift.

Schedule: EVE 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM Monday-Friday

W/e on call 1x/mo

As a Med Lab Scientist, you'll get to:
Perform high complexity testing in immunohematology, including antibody identification, antigen typing, absorptions, elution, and cross match.
Fill antigen orders, specialty orders, etc.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, biological, medical technology or clinical laboratory science required.
Accepting MLS I, II, or III

MLS I
Must have a degree in Medical Lab Science OR an ASCP certification as MLS /MT
$37.16/hour
MLS II
ASCP MLS/BB certification required.
Two years in a Clinical Laboratory setting required.
$42.73-$44.77/hour
MLS III
Certification :SBB preferred MLS /BB accepted
3 years lab exp with 1 year IRL
2 years lead/charge experience required
$49.14-51.48
