Associate Scientist, QC Raw Materials

This Associate Scientist, QC Raw Materials is responsible for the coordination and delivery of raw material test samples internally and to Contract Laboratories. The role: Lead projects within QC Raw Materials Authors and Executes Quality Records, including Change Controls and Investigations Sampling of raw materials according to established specifications Coordinate and deliver samples to QC lab for internal testing of raw materials. Sending out of raw material samples to Contract Testing Laboratories (CTL). Follows up with CTLs on testing and turnaround times to ensure testing deadlines are met. Review of test data from CTLs, including interpretation of test results according to specifications The candidate: B.S. or B.A. required, in a Life Sciences discipline preferred 2-4 years of relevant experience working in a cGMP environment Experience working in cGMP Quality Control Experience with raw material testing and set up of raw material programs, preferred Experience with Compendial requirements (USP/EP/JP/etc) The anticipated salary range for this position in Maryland is $58,240-$80,080 plus an annual bonus target.
