As a Laboratory Technician you will;Formulate blends/compounds in a laboratory environment under direction of AD personnelTests samples using industry/company approved technologiesRecord test results and maintain laboratory notebook (provided) - ascertaining completeness and accuracy of all data generatedMakes observations of tests, failure modes, notable events in the course of testingRecord raw data into electronic spreadsheets - saved to site networkMaintain integrity of testing instruments through proper handling and training.Follow standard operating procedures during use of equipmentClean testing equipmentFollow safety procedures when handling materials and running equipment Participate in ensuring that the lab area and equipment are kept clean and organizedResponsible for upkeep and housekeeping within R D labs and support areas Obtains assistance from supervisor or higher level lab personnel if problems arise or normal instructions are insufficient This is a full-time opportunity.Monday - Friday 12:00pm-8:30pm The ideal candidate will have:High school diploma (minimum), associates or BS degree in Chemistry or related field preferred 2+ years related experience preferredInternal EHS & adhesive testing and synthesis training - Hazardous Materials training level 1 (Provided) Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required:Fully developed proficiency of chemistry and/or testing of chemical products. Basic understanding of mathematics (must)Basic mechanical aptitudeProblem-solving skillsAbility to use computer and testing equipment (proficient with MS Office and Google docs/sheets is preferred)Ability to read and follow standard operating procedures with an attention to detail Works with limited supervision and guides, including appropriately managing time requirements and acting as a self-motivatorAbility to communicate in a clear and professional mannerSkill in maintaining courteous, professional and effective working relationships with employees at all levels of the organizationAbility to receive constructive feedbackAbility to maintain laboratory notebookAdaptability to accept and perform work assignments that are outside the normal day-to-day routine or to changes in how business is accomplished and work is accomplished Requirements:Background checkDrug screening Pay Rate: $22.50 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
