Essential Duties:
- Demonstrate safe work practices.
- Follow general policies and procedures.
- Evaluate external water, wastewater, membrane, sensors, or analytical technologies on laboratory and /or pilot-scale
- Design and perform laboratory experiments and analyze data.
- Build, assemble, troubleshoot, and test laboratory, prototype, and pilot test set-ups, as needed.
- Assist the project team with pilot operations at the Technology /Engineering Center or at field locations.
- Collaborate with R&D teams and other Engineering groups within TETRA (Chemicals, Water & Flowback), and suppliers /vendors, as needed.
- Generate reports and publications on experiments performed and key findings.
- Complete all required HSEQ training and participate in all HSEQ required activities.
- Develop and maintain a Proficient competency level as assigned.
Requirements:
- EDUCATION: S. or Ph.D. in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Science, or similar disciplines with dissertation focus on Water, Wastewater, or Membrane Separation processes
- EXPERIENCE: For M.S. candidates, 3-5 years of experience in R&D and/or pilot studies in industrial or municipal water or wastewater treatment, desalination, and/or membrane separation processes. Experience in the Oil and Gas industry preferred, but not necessary
- TRAVEL: Up to 20%

- Must possess a valid Driver's License
