Associate Scientist

Looking for an Associate Scientist: can be a recent graduate with 1 year or less experience with ideally internship or academic experience. Looking for someone eager to learn and to be trained. Must have a BS in the sciences: BS in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, or related discipline.

Hours: 8am-4:30pm but flexible; must work 8 hours per day.

Rate: $33.00 per hour

• Will perform DN testing (PH, Assays, Osmo) encompassing a range of crucial analytical methods used in the pharmaceutical industry to ensure the quality, safety, and efficacy of drugs and related products.
• Must be eager to learn and ability to be trained.
• Will be responsible for performing analytical testing of siRNA drug substances, drug products, intermediates, and critical raw materials using UV spectrophotometry, osmometry, water content titration, and other chemistry instruments.
• Will also assist with collection, trending, and archival of data, in preparation for technical reports and regulatory filings. Provide inter-departmental support by ensuring continuous supply and life-cycle management of stability programs internally and at contract manufacturers.
